A sentence in Peter Thomas' tax evasion case has been decided.
On Thursday, Dec.
19, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 64, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to not paying his taxes, according to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE.

Following his sentence, Thomas, who is the ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey, will undergo two years of supervised release, the court docket in his case states.
He also has to pay some $2.5 million in restitution to the IRS.
Thomas pleaded guilty in July to failure to pay over trust fund taxes after prosecutors said he evaded more than $2 million in employment taxes for several of his businesses between 2017 to 2023.
