    Carolyn Ann "Callie" Khouri (born November 27, 1957) is an American film and television screenwriter, producer, and director.

    She is best known for writing Thelma & Louise,[2][3] which won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.[4][5]Thelma & Louise has since grown to be considered a classic,[6][7][8] and was inducted into the Library of Congress National Film Registry in December 2016.
