Born in 1949 in the city of Ghorveh in Iran’s Kurdistan province, Mohammad Reza Rahimi is an Iranian politician and the President’s First Deputy. He was a representative of the Kurdistan province during the first three terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and from 1993 to 1997, he was the Governor of Kurdistan.
